| Hatea River Reserve Track |

| The Hatea River Reserve Track starts at the waterfall and
continues along the river to end at some magnificent Kauri trees. |

| Kauri root systems are near the surface, and are delicate.
The Whangarei District Council constructed a walkway around the trees, so
that impact on the soil is minimised. |

They've already done a very nice job already. |
